Welcome to the AEBike blog
At first my seat bag choice was to get a few laughs out of people I don’t know on group rides. I did get a lot of laughs and even a shout-out at the beginning of the Monday night ride. At one moment when I was standing around waiting for the ride to begin, 40-50 people looked at my seat bag and started laughing. A few people couldn’t understand why I would put such a “huge – heavy – monstrosity on a beautiful bicycle”.
I did not intend to make the hamburger seat bag permanent, until I rode in the rain, stuffed extra Gu packets in it along with some Chap Stick, hair ties, and all the flat fix stuff one needs. Let me tell you the hamburger is the most functional seat bag I have ever had. Its waterproof, expands when I need it to, doesn’t jiggle around, holds its form, and looks great! The whole point of riding a bicycle is to have fun, so why not have some fun accessorizing?
