Alfred E. Bike will never make your email address or any other personal information available
to another company. If you elect to share your email address with us, we may occasionally
send you information on sales and cycling events.
We partner with Constant Contact and MailChimp for sending our newsletter emails.
We offer free standard shipping on qualifying orders. A minimum subtotal
of $75.00 is required. Select the "Free Domestic Shipping" method during checkout. This is only available
for orders going to the continental United States. The method being used for shipping will be at our discretion
but will most commonly be UPS Ground or USPS Priority Mail. There may be an additional processing time beyond
our normal processing time.
Please be aware that all orders take approximately 2 business days of processing time before they
leave our location, as all items first come to us from an out-of-state supplier.
Out of Stock Items
Our catalog is refreshed every hour to reflect only available items. In rare instances an item
may become unavailable after you place your order. In this situation we will either ship the
ordered items that are available, or contact you to find out if you would like to alter the order
first. This usually depends on the size of the order and the significance of the item that was unavailable
- if you order 20 different parts and one small thing is unavailable, we'll most likely just ship the rest
of the order. If you order a bike frame and a tire, but the bike frame is out of stock, we will contact
you. If you would like your order to be handled in a specific manner or if a particular part on the order
is needed more than the others, please provide instructions in the "Order Comments" section during the ordering
Prices and Information
Product images and information is provided to us by a third party and is posted automatically. In general
this information is very accurate, although occasionally errors may occur or the information may become
out of date. If you are unsure if a product's information is accurate please contact us, and we will try to help
verify it. However, since most of our products are located off-site we often cannot get visual confirmation. In
the event that a purchased product does not match our catalog information, please call or e-mail us regarding a
return. We can usually waive the restocking fee in this case, although the responsibility for shipping charges
will still fall to the consumer.
Returns and Exchanges
If you elect to return an item, it must be received by Alfred E. Bike within 30 calendar days of the order being
originally placed. All returned items must be in new and unused condition in original packaging.

Custom wheel builds cannot be returned unless there is a defect in workmanship.
Order Changes and Cancellations
Please make any order changes or requests to cancel within 12 hours after the order is initially placed.
If a request is made after this time to cancel an entire order or to cancel specific items within an order
a 15% restocking fee may be applied to the cancelled items. If a request is made after this time to add an
item to an order we will attempt to accommodate you, but may not always be able to do so.
